Reliable analysis results require consistent operating conditions. This also includes setting the flow rate and monitoring it closely. As with any other assembly in contact with the media, the focus of suitable flowmeters is to select highly durable materials and easy maintenance. Inductive limit switches and suitable regulators allow the flow meters to be integrated into the system controls.
Flowmeters perform various tasks in conditioning systems for gas analysis. The typically quite complex applications require the use of particularly corrosion-resistant materials
and high reliability. In addition to visual flow measurements, they are also suitable for determining the depletion of the filtration capacity of the filter installed in the conditioning line. Electrical limit switches can be fitted to the measuring tube for this purpose. These connect to the control system via suitable switching amplifiers.
Types with built-in needle valve further allow setting of specific flow rate.
